At Niu Studio Disseny Creatiu S.L., we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains how we treat the information you provide to us through www.weareniu.studio, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD).

What data we process

  • Contact data that you voluntarily provide to us when writing to us by email or through the website forms (name, email, company, and the content of your message).
  • Call booking data: if you book a call through the Google Calendar link, Google will process the data you enter (name, email) and communicate it to us to manage the meeting.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and access logs generated when browsing, processed by our security system (Wordfence) to protect the website against attacks.

We do not collect special category data or data from minors under 14 years of age.

Purposes and legal basis

  • To answer your queries and quote requests and manage the meetings you book. Legal basis: your consent and, where applicable, the application of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b GDPR).
  • To manage the professional relationship if you become a client. Legal basis: execution of the contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).
  • To ensure the security of the website. Legal basis: legitimate interest in protecting our systems (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

We do not profile or make automated decisions, and we do not send commercial communications without your prior consent.

How long we keep your data

We keep contact data for the time necessary to answer your query and, at most, for one year if a professional relationship is not initiated. Client data is kept for the duration of the relationship and, afterwards, during the legally required periods (for example, tax and commercial obligations). Security logs are kept for a limited period and are automatically deleted.

Recipients

We do not transfer your data to third parties, except under legal obligation. To provide our services, we use providers who act as data processors under contract, such as the web hosting and email provider, and Google (Google Calendar) for booking calls.

International transfers

Some providers, such as Google, may process data outside the European Economic Area. In these cases, transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, limitation of processing, and portability at any time, as well as withdraw the consent given, by writing to info@weareniu.studio and indicating the right you wish to exercise.

If you consider that we have not processed your data correctly, you can file a claim with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and a security firewall
